What wonderful advice in any context. It is very refreshing to hear such an accomplished man acknowledge the uplifting value of failure and of lessons learned from mistakes which may not, in fact, even be mistakes.
There are aspects of our life which are out of our hands because often in those of pure chance, as we discovered about Jobs’ birth and parents, while others really are up to us to define. To do so, we must indeed try and try again.
I think that when I listened to him speak, it became obvious to me that there is a certain type of person in whose hands failure always turns into a form of success. Jobs was one of them.
